it's been a month....

new post new post new post....

life is amazing <3
we have been in oregon a month now and we LOVE it.
i never really thought i'd end up living some where so beautiful!
my dreams have become reality, some times i have to pinch myself.

we have been plugged into an amazing group of people
and the communal living side of me has been drenched with love.
i'm reminded often of the story in mark 8
where a crowd was following Jesus and after 3 days of no food Jesus fed i believe four thousand on 7 loaves of bread and a few small fishes. and after everyone was full there were still left overs.
Jesus is providing in amazing ways and it is such a great witness to my family.

tristan has been trucking. doing OTR (over the road) we just started week 2.
(papa's truck)
as much as i miss him, him being away makes my heart fall deeper in love with him. they say absence makes the heart grow fonder... but realizing he's willing to sacrifice his warm bed, hot meals, the comforts of his life, and much more to provide for his family....now that makes my heart gush.

i can't help but cry when he leaves, but knowing where his heart is and the purpose he does it for makes me so proud to call him the head of our family.

we have 11 days till the wedding.
we may not have all the bells and whistles, but we have LOVE
and not just the love tristan and i share, but the love our family and friends have for us. we have been over loaded with love. there are so many people helping out and making the day amazing for us.
i can't wait to be mrs pratt.
i look back and i'm amazed where God has taken both of us.

i love seeing cadence so engaged with family and church
it's so wholesome
makes my mama heart beam
we have made so many "friends" up here, but instantly they have become family

recently my sister and brother in-law bought tristan and i bikes.
it's fastly becoming one of my favorite things to do. if the rain would just stop long enough! ha.
the night we got our bikes i was riding around and i couldn't help but feel like i was in an episode of
the cool crisp spring air, the beautiful oregon houses.....
"what's amazing is when you can feel your life going somewhere, like your life just figured out how to get good, like, that second."

so thankful. we are right where Jesus wants us. and life... it's getting good!
