To Write Love On Her Arms Day

To Write Love on Her Arms is a non-profit movement dedicated to presenting hope and finding help for people struggling with depression, addiction, self-injury and suicide. TWLOHA exists to encourage, inform, inspire and also to invest directly into treatment and recovery.

To Write Love On Her Arms Day is a day where anyone can write the words love on their arms, to support those who are fighting against depression and those who are trying to recovering. On this day, just write love on your arms, and show it off, other people will ask why you have love written on your arms, and you tell them you are supporting to write love on her arms day, and how its benefiting a non profit organization helping stop depression, and make love the movement ♥

God and country night

while i'm not a big supporter of war, i still fully support the men and women who put their lives on the line for our country. such hardships go into being in the military... deployment, months spent away from your family and friends, living in dangerous situations, stress, fear, uncertainties... the list can go on and on. 

my father was in the air-force, my brother in-law was in the air-force, my grandpas are both vets, and many more of my family members have served as well. 

to all the men and women who have served our country my lil family is sending out a big thank you and many prayers.

cubbies theme last night was God and country and they did "hugs for soldiers"

so we took cadence to the store and let her pick out somethings to send to the soldiers

chewy bars, peanut butter, hot coco with marshmallows

the church is also doing a canned for drive till the end of this month

cadence really loved putting the food in the box and handing the lady in front of the soldier boxes her bag of goodies

it was a good lesson in sharing with others, and i love that. i want cadence to see compassion and live full of compassion.

she was excited to see travis air-force's colorgaurd

and even got her picture with one of the soldiers

after a little reading this morning i headed out to the polls and voiced my opinion....

i'm waiting till morning to really look into the results.

i'm not really sure i believe in our voting system, it seems no matter what the out come is there is always a chance to have it over turned anyways. it's a flawed system, but i'm still going to exercise my freedom and fill in the bubbles of my choice. i was in and out with in 10mins (i took my cheat sheet in with me)

afterwards, tristan and i got lunch and took it down to the waterfront and had a little picnic

look at my luff <3 he's so cute :)

we spent the rest of the day looking at used cars. 

i'm still feeling very under the weather. my head cold seems to have gone to my chest now and the coughing has started, which in return makes my head hurt. *whimper*

tristans is about 96% better and thank God cadence has not shown any signs of being sick.

i think it's time to take our tired bones (as cadence would say) to bed
